I was looking for the manual for my 05' 1/2 VW Jetta and it seemed like I was not going to be able to find it cheaper than $100 so I kept looking around and then one day not too long ago I did a search on amazon and there it was for $80 something and I could not think twice on it and I purchased it. I am so happy I did because now I can work on my car and it's alot easier to do that :)
Good, but a little clumsy July 23, 2010

This is a great technical book, but a little clumsy in that it covers four different engines and you have to wade through the info to get to the details for the particular engine you are concerned with. A manual for a 2010 Jetta TDI would be much better, but this is the only thing out there other than the manufacturer's service manuals.

This book is comprehensive but it assumes a great deal of knowledge on the part of the user. It also could be better at describing the tools necessary to do a job. The step-by-step instructions and photos are sometimes inaccurate in their descriptions of the vehicle.
