I bought this as a gift my better half. I decided on this model because it has all the features you could ask for. The POP detection is a definate plus. And it also has a detection for what they use in Europe right now and soon to be in the States. I figured this way I wouldn't have to buy a new one when it does. You can't go wrong with the price for what this model has to offer.

For the price of the radar detector, I'm extremely impressed. From it's features to its accuracy it has been a great product. I have been successfully warned multiple times now, well ahead of police vehicles coming towards me on the opposite side of the road with their speed radars turned on. I use the "City 1" mode which nearly eliminates false alarms that normally occur X-band while driving around in a normal city environment. When the detector alarms, I know that it can be trusted. I highly recommend this radar detector.

This detector has decent range. I have found that many doors locally use k band, only a couple so far I have seen use x band. Overall a decent detector though, especially for the price. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is buying for the first time.

The voice alerts is such a great feature it allows me to know when it detects a radar with actually having to look at it and I can still pay attention to the road. False alarms are avoided when i use the city mode and it still lets me know if signal strength becomes strong. Definitely recommend.
