BMW of North America announced the 2009 model year prices and an average price increase of 2.1 percent across its range of 2009 model year BMW cars.
The increase is driven mainly by continually rising raw materials costs and ongoing exchange rate pressure, according to a statement from BMW.
BMW also released the full list of prices for the 2009 model year.
The full list of BMW 2009 car prices are found below (click "Read more"), but the prices range from a low MSRP of $29,200 for the 2009 BMW 128i Coupe, to a high of $101,700 for the 2009 BMW M6 Coupe. |

BMW announced a recall of over 200,000 vehicles due to the possibility of the front passenger airbags not deploying properly.
The German automaker said the effected models include:
3 Series Model Year 2006
5 Series Model Years 2004-2006
X3 SUV Series Model Years 2004-2006
These BMW cars and SUVs were all built in the United States. The flaw seems to be tied to an inability to detect if there is a passenger in the front seat of the car.
BMW has offered to extend the warranty on effected cars. |
